This project aims to revitalize local arts and provide more opportunities for citizens to enjoy arts and culture by helping art and cultural organizations or artists work in connection with local communities. We support art activities and projects by holding a contest, to prepare the foundation for artists and citizens to grow together through arts and culture.

Project Purposes

- To communicate with communities through arts and culture and provide citizens with opportunities to enjoy arts and culture
- To provide excellent cultural content and promote cooperation with communities through art and cultural activities presented at cultural facilities and cultural bases
- To promote locally-based art activities in connection with local communities

Qualification for Application

Art and cultural organizations or artists based in Gyeonggi-do (※ Preferential treatment shall be given to art and cultural organizations or artists based in Gwangmyeong City)

Support Targets

- Art activities in specialized areas (literature, visual arts, performing arts, traditional arts, etc.) that are performed in Gwangmyeong City
- Art projects in connection with local communities such as neighborhoods and villages
- Art activities performed at local cultural facilities and cultural bases
※ Art activities (or projects) are to be executed in Gwangmyeong City. Only one complete series of art activities (or projects) will be supported.
